The Ethiopian Society of Winnipeg provides a central coordinating body for individuals interested in volunteering within the Ethiopian community. Assistant who provides one-on-one tutoring or service to a student and older adult in an after school program
Mentor who helps newcomers and Canadian born Ethiopians set goals and choose career
Translator or interpreter to various Ethiopian languages
English conversation class facilitator for newcomer Ethiopians who have low literacy in English language
Settlement facilitator that helps Newcomer Ethiopians to integrate into the mainstream culture of Canadian society
